1
General LVAS Club Meetings (monthly)
Indoor, in-person meetings where we talk about club matters and have speakers/presentations. Always free and open to the public.
2
Astronomy in the Park (monthly-ish)
Outdoor star parties and public viewing. These are weather-dependent. These are open to the public and typically free, but sometimes the location has a parking fee.
3
Outreach (a few times a month)
Viewing sessions specific to clubs or organizations. These are sometimes open to the public to attend but not always.
4
LVAS Club Special Events (a few times a year)
Events focused on observing; sometimes lasting more than one night.
5
Partnership Events (occasional)
These happen a few times a year in conjunction with other local organizations.

Volunteer Opportunities
"Volunteering" typically refers to coming and setting up your own equipment to share celestial sights with others. But it can also be other related things to just help the flow at events or other projects. We discuss volunteer opportunities at each monthly meeting, as well as on Facebook/Instagram.
